About the role
You will lead mobile projects across iOS and Android: planning them, running them, and staying technical enough to judge whether an estimate is honest. Mobile work carries constraints that web work does not, from store review to device fragmentation, and you will be the person who plans around them instead of being surprised by them.
What you will do
- Own delivery for mobile projects on iOS, Android or both.
- Scope and estimate work with the team, then hold the plan honest as it changes.
- Coordinate design, development and QA so that testing is not something that happens at the end.
- Plan releases properly: store submission, review timelines, staged rollout and the fixes after.
- Keep clients close, with status they can act on rather than status that reassures.
What we are looking for
- Around three years running mobile projects, with hands-on development behind you.
- In-depth programming knowledge of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with the app store review process and what it does to a schedule.
- The judgement to know when a feature should be cut rather than rushed.
- Clear communication with people who are not technical.
How we work
Fast-paced teams whose work makes a visible difference to clients. You will have real ownership of your projects and the support of people who have shipped before.
