Tool design
Actions shaped around what a user wants done, not around whatever endpoints your API happens to have.
Not sure where to start?
Thirty minutes with an engineer, before anyone writes a proposal.
We work out what the real problem is first. No obligation.
Start small
A fixed-price audit that tells you what not to automate.
Two to three weeks, written findings you keep, no obligation to continue.

Custom MCP server development
The Model Context Protocol is how an assistant stops guessing and starts operating: a defined set of actions it may take against your ERP, your CMS or your internal API, each with its own permission. We build the server, write the tool definitions and decide what the assistant is allowed to touch.

What we build
The protocol is the easy half. The work is deciding what to expose and proving the boundary holds.
Actions shaped around what a user wants done, not around whatever endpoints your API happens to have.
Each tool carries its own scope. Read is separated from write, and destructive actions are separated from both.
Content the server returns is data. A ticket that says "ignore your instructions" gets treated as text, not a command.
SOAP services, flat-file exports and databases with no API at all, wrapped in something an assistant can use.
The assistant acts as the person using it, so your existing access rules still apply rather than being bypassed.
Who called what, with which arguments, and what came back. The record an auditor will ask for.
Technology
If it has an API, a database or a file drop, it can usually be reached. These are the ones that come up most.
The systems of record where the answer actually lives.
Content and orders, usually the first place a team wants an assistant to help.
Direct access where there is no service in front of the data, with read paths kept separate.
Where the server runs and how it is reached, on your infrastructure or ours.

How a build runs
Stage 01
We establish the real problem, the users and the constraints before proposing anything.
Stage 02
Approach and scope, reviewed with you before any production work begins.
Stage 03
Agile sprints with something working at the end of each, not a status report.
Stage 04
Testing and performance checks, then a release with a rollback path.
Stage 05
The team that built it keeps it running. Monitoring, patching and improvement.
